Hi, I'm Sharon.

I’m Sharon, a family photographer with a lifelong love of capturing people and the moments that matter most.

Photography has always been more than a career to me, it’s how I’ve always seen the world. Long before it became my profession, I was the teenager who carried a camera everywhere, happiest spending hours in the school darkroom watching photographs slowly appear before my eyes. Those early moments sparked a lifelong love of capturing people, emotion and the stories that make every family unique.

I went on to study Photographic Arts at RMIT and began my career as a photographer before moving into magazine publishing. Although life took me in a different direction for many years, becoming a mum gave photography an entirely new meaning. Watching my own three children grow has reminded me just how quickly the little moments become treasured memories. In 2017, I returned to photography professionally, with an even greater passion for creating images families will cherish for generations.

Today, family portraiture is where my heart truly lies.

I love photographing people and telling their stories through natural, timeless images. Whether it’s the anticipation of a growing family, the beautiful chaos of young children, or simply capturing your family exactly as you are right now, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel genuine, emotional and full of connection.

My sessions are relaxed, easy-going and never rushed. I believe the most meaningful photographs happen when people feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves. The laughter between siblings, a quiet cuddle, a knowing glance, tiny hands held tightly, these are the moments that become your family’s legacy.

Years from now, I want you to look back at your photographs and remember not only how you looked, but how those moments felt.
